Te Awa Sauvignon Sémillon
Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon blends are rare in New Zealand but very common elsewhere in the wine world, particularly France and Australia. Wherever they are made they are highly regarded as excellent food wines as they suit a wide variety of cuisines.
Here at Te Awa we enjoy 'pushing the envelope'. We have combined these two classic white grape varieties, fermenting a portion in barrel, to produce a wine with layers of flavour and complexity, that has the ability to cellar well. A very sophisticated and international style.
