Te Awa Functions

Te Awa Winery is a stunning vineyard that provides a unique location for functions, conferences and events.

Situated in the heart of the Gimblett Gravels, with close proximity to Napier, Hastings and Havelock North, Te Awa is the perfect setting for all inclusive entertaining. The winery has the flexibility to cater for functions with up to 150 guests.

To Begin

Relax and enjoy drinks and canapés with your guests on our expansive lawn, in our beautiful gardens, or even at our rustic cellar door. All canapé sample menus contained are intended to give an indication only.Our menus change seasonally and with the availability of ingredients. Once you have decided on Te Awa as your function venue, your function coordinator will confirm menu selections with you.

The Dinner

At Te Awa, we have a well deserved reputation for producing outstanding food and wine thanks largely to our Head Chef, Francky Godinho and our Winemaker, Antony MacKenzie.We know your guests will be impressed and you will be delighted. We only use the very best seasonal produce and our menus reflect these seasonal changes. Attached are sample menus to give you an indication of the style of food and service we provide at Te Awa.

The Evening’s Festivities

Bands or DJs are welcome and we have some fabulous spaces for dancing. Our Liquor License allows us to sell alcohol until 11PM and guests must depart the premises by Midnight.

A Winter Function

If you are considering an Autumnal or Winter function, between the months of May and September, we have some wonderful incentives such as free venue hire and discounts when a minimum of 50 guests are confirmed. If you are interested in these months, please inquire about these options with the Functions Manager.
